When looking to redecorate any room in your home or perhaps when looking for a throw or cushions to add to your  Eames Chair or your Eames Office Chair Replica that you purchased from https://www.pash-classics.com/eames-eiffel-chair , it is important to take into consideration how the colour you choose is going to make you feel along with whether it will make your room feel lighter or darker and more spacious or smaller.

Here are some brief facts about some of the colours that you may be considering:

Brown – this colour helps to connect you with nature and all things natural. For this reason, it is often classified as a neutral colour and interestingly it is made up of shade of black, greys, green, red, yellow and a variety of other colours. We often associate the feelings we experience when eating chocolate or drink a cup of coffee with the richer shades of brown.

White – this colour is used to give a fresh and clean look to an area. White can help to make a room appear larger than it is and is often used in places where there are low ceilings to add a feel of height. It evokes a feeling of purity and calm but should be used sparingly to avoid producing too much of a clinical feel to a room.

Yellow – this colour is linked to optimism and brightness. The shade of yellow that is used can determine the feelings that are produced with a pale hue adding brightness to a room but a darker colour actually making the room seem darker.  Yellow is a great colour to use in small amounts in the accessories that you use in a room such as the patterns on cushion covers or in artificial or real flowers that you place in a vase.

Red – this colour is traditionally linked with danger and as such the colour can subtly increase your heart rate and blood pressure. It can however also increase your appetite and feelings of passion which is why it is a popular choice to use in both kitchens and bedrooms.

Purple – this colour creates an element of luxury and a calm and serene feeling to the room. For this reason, you often find that spas and salons use an element of purple in their decoration choices.
